Help measure Barham River water quality

We are looking for volunteers who would like to be trained in water quality measurement and who would be prepared to test water samples once a month for at least 12 months. Once you are trained, it will take about half an hour. Over time these measurements will be very important and will be combined to provide us with a more complete picture of the river.
I (Simon Pockley) will be measuring the quality of water in the West Barham about 100m up stream from the confluence. We need at least two more people on the East Barham above the pump station and at least one more to messure the West Barham further upstream.

If you are interested, you can phone me on 0418575525 or email me at simonpockley@gmail.com or fill in the comment box below this message.

You will find this a fascinating and worthwhile activity.
